Specific Markers (Moderators)
WG1 will share knowledge on age specific moderators that influence therapeutic outcome, in order to help develop effective individualized treatment. WG1’s objectives are:
- To exchange knowledge and research experience, and collaborate with clinicians in order to identify possible moderators influencing therapy outcome
- To conduct systematic literature reviews of the existing research on moderators of outcome
- To identify what is missing in the evidence base on moderators influencing the effects of therapy for young people
- To suggest what kind of research on moderators is needed in order to advance individualized treatment for individuals in this age group.
In this webinar you hear Professor Stig Paulsen presenting the uptodate scientific knowledge base concerning the question: What are the specific markers of youth psychotherapy?
Status report by the end of the Action September 2021
WG1 has established a database with extraction of information from more than 170 articles reporting predictors and moderators of change in youth psychotherapy.
WG1 has published the protocol describing the systematic reviews and is currently preparing first three reviews focusing on socio-demographic, clinical and psychological predictors and moderators of change, respectively.
The reviews will be published in open access journals and stakeholders will be reached through the web page, social media, conference papers and participation in panels.
The collaboration that has led to the results would never have been established without the Action network. The Action has led to a sustainable collaboration that will be continued after the end of the Action and will continue to publish results from the study for years to come.
