Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel restrictions in effect in various countries, WG 2 could not hold its face-to-face meeting and training school in Malaga, Spain, as had been originally planned. However, determined to progress in its tasks and reach its goals, WG2 held a 2-day online meeting and training school via Zoom, on September 10-11, 2020.

WG2 on Mechanisms of Change in Youth Psychotherapy held a meeting at the University of Heidelberg in Germany on Nov. 30 and Dec 1st, 2018, to further develop the process of identifying mediators of outcome in youth psychotherapy.

WG2 held a 2-day meeting at the University of Porto in Porto, Portugal, on Feb 13 and 14, 2020, to summarize the findings of a comprehensive review on mechanisms of change in child and adolescent psychotherapy.
